BAKED POTATOES WITH HAM

These baked potatoes with ham are very nourishing and you can serve them as a main dish or as a garnish.
- 1.5kg potatoes
- 350gr ham
- 2 onions
- 2 teaspoons granulated garlic
- 4-5 tablespoons of vegetable oil
- 1 bunch of fresh parsley
- salt to taste
- about 200ml water
How to make baked potatoes with ham
Chop the onions julien. Place the onions into a skillet along with 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Cook, stirring often, until glossy. Remove from heat and set aside.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into medium pieces. Place the potatoes into a large bowl, pour 3 tablespoon of vegetable oil, add salt and granulated garlic and stir to combine.
Place the potatoes into a baking dish (25/35cm) along with 200ml water.
Add the caramelized onions and stir to combine.

Cut the ham into medium pieces and place it over the potatoes.
Place the baking dish into the preheated oven and bake at at 190°C for about 45 minutes (or until the potatoes are golden and cooked through).
Remove from the oven and sprinkle fresh parsley.
